Rates: $200/hour

We support a variety of HR workplace needs and bring an equity centered approach to all of our practices, including hiring and recruitment, employee development, policy creation, compensation and benefits analysis, and more.

We value pro-worker workplaces, and have experience using Collective Bargaining Agreements to operationalize HR and managerial functions.

General HR Services

Some of the services we offer include:

  • We handle the creation or revision of your workplace policy manual using an intersectional, equity-centered framework that still meets necessary compliance measures. We can also create all necessary coinciding forms as well as presentations regarding all policy updates so your team can be as informed as possible

  • Compensation and benefit analysis with comparison of top, median, mode, and low range pay tiers and benefits for the corresponding geographic area and budget size in your field. We use a variety of regularly published, field specific reports that we gain access to so your workplace does not have to pay for high usage fees!

  • Building a compensation philosophy and roadmap for the future that creates salary bands, and a rubric explaining the responsibilities and conditions that comprise each band. (We call this a Complex Role Matrix or CRM.) This includes a budget forecast for sustainability of your compensation structure with customized implementation advice based on your budget and capacity.

  • Creating or improving onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Independent exit or stay interviews for your team members, as well as coaching sessions on how you might implement new policies or procedures as a response to learnings from these interviews

  • Creation or revision of processes for annual and/or 90-day reviews, including 360 reviews and reciprocal feedback processes.

  • Facilitation of Board/ED reviews from creation of process to facilitation and collection of feedback.

  • Creation of employee incentive and professional development programs for your team, as well as support in kick off meetings and participation initiatives.

  • Mediation and conflict resolution is available to clients we are already working with in an HR capacity. We can also support policy creation around conflict resolution that includes mediation.

  • Monthly maintenance level HR: these contracts are built as a retainer: you pay up front for 3 hours of service per month for six months, and if you need a little extra help and support, we can assign you a team of HR advisors who will be available for occasional meetings, answer questions via email, or assist with emergent HR issues as they pop up. Any billing over the 3 hours will be billed monthly.

We specialize in operationalizing equity and helping to create a more inclusive practice around developing policies and procedures customized for your workplace that still meet the compliance regulations in your state. Together we’ll determine what support you need, the services that fit your needs, and how long that support is needed.

Hiring, Recruitment, & Executive Search

Unlike most hiring firms, we do not require a placement fee or a percentage of a candidate’s salary to carry your search forward. Our focus isn’t on hiring someone so we can be paid, it’s to help our clients find and hire diverse candidates who are aligned with their values and goals and are a culture add rather than just culture fit.

How We Work:

Our hiring and recruitment practices are based in equity centered outreach and scoring rubrics, allowing for more diverse, equitable, and inclusive hiring across all fields and entities we work with.

We assist in job description creation, and use our specialized software to post the job application, followed by carefully stewarding your candidates through the screening process, keeping them as updated as possible at every step. We can also recruit from our pool of standing candidates who have worked in fields similar to yours, or dig deeper with our recruitment software capabilities for national-level remote hires. We assist in creating interview questions and simulation exercises so that they can be as accessible and informative as possible.
