Bookkeeping Services
Monthly bookkeeping services including tax prep, 990 filing, and monthly sales tax filing (Ohio only) are all available but carry separate fees from our monthly services. Bookkeeping is priced at a per-hour rate with a two hour minimum per month, though most businesses with budgets larger than $500k use at least 3 hours.
Monthly bookkeeping includes the ability for our clients to call or email us with questions about their account as needed. We will produce a reconciliation report, a balance statement, and a profit & loss report that will be emailed to you within 10 days of the previous month's end, and can provide reports for forecasting, board meetings, auditors, etc. If you’d like an hour long monthly meeting, or need to schedule a half hour troubleshooting session, those are included in our per month service pricing.
Additional check-in meetings are on our $115-$150/hour sliding scale rate.
Tax Services
Tax prep & filing* ($699-$1400 depending on complexity level of tax situation) - This service includes a 12-month reconciliation of your books, a final profit & loss statement, and deduction recommendations for your new tax year. If you are filing 990s, our rates start at $699 per entity. (For example, if your organization has both a 501c3 and a 501c4, it will be a minimum of $699 per entity, or $1398 total minimum.)
Filing is only available only to clients who already use our bookkeeping service. Please let us know ahead of tax season if you plan to have us file your taxes and we will add it to your service contract.

Tax return extension filing- $150 flat fee per entity

Budget & Financial Planning & Forecasting
$200/hour. Getting in the habit of making a yearly budget and sticking to it is difficult, but it can really take your business or organization to the next level. We help you enhance and/or improve your financial processes to fit your capacity needs and reach your goals.
Our finance specialists will help you implement affordable, easy-to-use software programs that help track your progress, increase your own understanding of your business’ performance, and increase your own financial literacy.
These services are offered for organizations and businesses, not individuals (unless they are business owners.)
501(c)(3) Application
$5,000* for up to 20 hours of work; additional hours billed at an hourly rate. This service is for those who are applying for 501(c)(3) charitable status. We will perform name clearance, file your articles of incorporation, help you create appropriate bylaws, produce board minutes forms for your board to use in the future, and expedite your federal tax ID (EIN). This process generally takes 6-8 weeks from start to submission of your application, provided you have about 8 hours of co-working time to meet and flesh out your organization's mission statement, bylaws, and other internal information.
Please note that we have no control over how long it takes for your application to be approved or denied by the IRS, but we advise it might take up to a year for the process to be completed once we submit your application.
*This does not include the state filing fee, which varies by state.
How We Work:
We’ll perform a wellness assessment of your finances, talk to you about goals, and help you build a budget that honors those objectives.
Additional partnership may include: advice for staff growth and scaling up, funding opportunities, tax deduction identification and grant budgeting support.
